God our Father, your Holy Spirit filled the apostles with courage and zeal to proclaim your Good News to the whole world. May that same Spirit inspire young men to join the Society of Jesus to carry forward that mission. We ask this in the name of the risen Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Almighty and everlasting God, you chose Mary to be the mother of your eternal Word. Give us strong and faithful servants of that Word in the Society of Jesus, which has consecrated itself to you in the presence of Mary, our mother. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
