Provincial's Dinner
Dear Friends:
On April 14, 2010, we will host the 4th Annual Jesuit Provincial's Dinner.
Our 2010 Dinner will honour Mr. John A. Gennaro of Toronto. At our Dinner, we will also continue to honour our Jesuit Golden Jubilarians: Fr. Michael Parent, Fr. Bill Robins, Fr. Winston Rye, Fr. Joe Schuck, and Fr. Roger Yaworski.
The celebration will begin with a Mass at St. David's Parish, 2601 Major Mackenzie Dr., Maple, Ontario, beginning at 5:00 pm. Following the Mass, a pre-dinner reception will begin at 6:30 pm, which will give you an opportunity to meet some of the Jesuits you have supported over the years. Dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m. The reception and dinner will be held at Le Parc Dining and Banquet Hall, 20 North Rivermede Rd., Concord, Ontario.
The cost of the evening is $125.00 per person (with a tax receipt of $75.00 for a single ticket) or $1,000.00 for a table of eight (with a tax receipt of $600.00 for a table). The proceeds from the dinner will go towards funding a scholarship for a Jesuit in formation. You are also invited to direct your portion of the ticket proceeds to a named scholarship honouring a Jubilarian of your choice.
To order your ticket(s), please complete and mail the following reply before February 24, 2010. The cheque or money order should be made payable to the Jesuit Development Office. You may also fill out the form below.
Last year's dinner was very successful. It brought together a large number of friends and supporters of the Jesuits and the Jubilarians, and many friendships were renewed and new acquaintances made.
The chair for this year's event will be Mr. Celeste Iacobelli, B.A., LL.B.
Hope to see you on April 14th.
Sincerely in Christ,
Fr. Jim Webb, S.J.
Provincial Superior

Director JDO
1987 - 2004
Two of our National Directors, past and present, are celebrating their 50th Anniversary in the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) in 2010. Congratulations to Fr. Roger Yaworski, S.J. and Fr. J. Winston Rye, S.J. on their jubilee!!
A scholarship has been set up in each of their names to commemorate this life achievement. The scholarship is invested and the interest is used to educate the young Jesuits in formation. The financial and spiritual support of many of our friends and benefactors has enabled us to ensure the highest quality of education and preparation of those in formation. I would ask you to consider contributing to these two very special scholarships in appreciation for the work and dedication of these two "young at heart" Jesuits.
Both Fr. Yaworski and Fr. Rye will be honoured at the Provincial's Dinner which will be held on April 14, 2010. Please join us if you are able for this gala event.
May God bless you for your generosity and support of the Jesuits in English Canada.
Gratefully,
Barbara DeCarlo
Director - Development & Administration
