Effective February 18, 2010, Fr. Kevin McKenna resides at Rene Goupil House in Pickering and is involved with ministry of prayer.
Art White officially became Minister at La Storta on October 24, 2009. He became house consultor on December 1 after Philip Shano's arrival. He is guestmaster for La Storta and Clarendon Cottage.
Father General has confirmed the appointment of David Creamer as superior of the Jesuit community in Winnipeg, effective October 16.
Robert Croken appointed to ministry of prayer at Rene Goupil House in Pickering, effective August 12.
Keith Langstaff appointed to Martyrs' Shrine ministry in Midland during the summer months and pastoral ministry in Pickering during the winter months, effective June 22.
Joseph Newman appointed to pastoral ministry at St. Ignatius Parish in Winnipeg, effective November 1.

John McCarthy, S.J., has been appointed Chaplain to Saint Mark’s College, Vancouver, effective August 15.
Robert Wong, S.J., has been appointed Pastor of Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Vancouver, effective July 9.
The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops has appointed Father Gilles Mongeau, S.J., as a CCCB delegate to the Faith and Witness Commission of the Canadian Council of Churches. The appointment is effective immediately and is for three years, ending in June 2012.
Father General has approved the appointment of Father Jean-Marc Laporte as the Superior of the Jesuit Community of Halifax, effective February 7.
Fr. George Leach has been appointed Rector of Regis College, effective January 1, 2009. Fr. Leach is currently serving as the Director of the Jesuit Centre of Spirituality in Halifax.

The Board of the Lonergan Research Institute has appointed Gordon Rixon, S.J., as its Director, for a two-year-term, effective August 1, 2008. The work of Bernard Lonergan is an important apostolic legacy of the province for the Society and the Church.
Fr. James Webb appointed Provincial Superior of the Jesuits in English Canada effective July 31, 2008. He will also be responsible for formation but will not have an assistant.

Fr. Adolfo Nicolás has informed us that the Vatican Congregation for Catholic Education has confirmed Fr. Joseph Schner as president of Regis College as an ecclesiastical faculty for a further five-year term.
Fr. Peter Monty has been assigned to the community in Ottawa, where he will do pastoral ministry, especially among the deaf. He will be moving from Winnipeg in late September.
Fr. Joseph Mroz has been assigned to live in the new novitiate community in Montreal starting in mid-August. He will have part- time teaching and chaplaincy duties at Loyola High School.
Gregory Kennedy, Paul Robson, and Henk van Meijel, have been approved for first vows as scholastics. Greg Kennedy will be stationed at Ogilvie Residence in Ottawa; Paul at Cardoner in Toronto; and Henk at 2 Dale in Toronto.
John Masterson will move from 2 Dale to Pickering in mid-September.
Vernon Boyd will become administrator for Good Shepherd Parish in Ottawa.
Scott Lewis will become the new director of Manresa effective September 1. He will function on a part-time basis as did Fr. Jack O`Brien before him, and will keep his residency and apostolic responsibilities at Regis College.
Alphonse McAndrew will move to 2 Dale to do inner-city work with refugees and migrants.
John Sullivan will move to 2 Dale in early September. When he has completed his STL thesis, he will then be assigned to Thunder Bay to work in the native apostolate.
